Job Title: Plumbing Superintendent
Location: Blacksburg, VA

We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified and reliable Plumbing Superintendent, to assist us as we take on more projects. We currently have projects running in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Colorado, and we are growing!
Position Summary:
As a Plumbing Superintendent, you will manage and oversee daily plumbing activities on our new construction projects, which include multifamily apartment buildings, assisted living facilities, student housing, and hotels. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed according to code, and you will play a key part in maintaining quality and customer satisfaction throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain inventory of onsite materials.
· Conduct daily site inspections to ensure accurate and code-compliant installations.
· Oversee installation schedules by training and directing subcontractors.
· Ensure daily cleanup of project debris by subcontractor teams.
· Maintain and submit daily and weekly reporting records.
· Interact with local governing bodies to obtain required inspections.
· Coordinate and verify layouts and installations for slabs, rough-ins, top-outs, and trim.
Minimum Qualifications:
· A minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily and/or commercial construction.
· Proven ability to manage plumbing projects from start to finish, including overseeing underground plumbing, top-out, and trim-out processes. (Note: Limited hands-on plumbing work required.)
· Strong knowledge of plumbing installation and ability to read and interpret construction plans.
· Experience with Blue Beam and ProCore a plus
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
· Effectively utilize computer technology, ability to send daily reports, etc.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
· Plumbing License (Strongly Preferred)
