We are seeking a motivated Communications Intern to support a dynamic team. This internship provides valuable exposure to strategic communications in a fast-paced healthcare environment while making a meaningful impact on patients and families. This role offers hands‑on experience across both internal and external communications, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful storytelling that highlights patient care, clinical excellence and community impact. Key Responsibilities Assist in drafting and editing content for internal newsletters, staff communications and leadership messages Support external communications efforts, including blog posts, media materials and website updates Contribute to social media planning, content creation, and performance tracking across platforms Help coordinate campaigns, events and awareness initiatives Conduct research and compile insights to support communications strategies Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field Strong writing, editing and organizational skills Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects Interest in healthcare, storytelling and mission‑driven work About Texas Children’s Since 1954, Texas Children’s has been leading the charge in patient care, education and research to accelerate health care for children and women around the world.
