What It Takes to Diagnose, Repair, and Rebuild (Requirements) Experience or familiarity with PC, laptop, or electronics repair required Basic understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both hands-on repair and documentation Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment Comfortable working in a technical, production-based setting Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical/electronic aptitude Ability to stay organized while managing multiple devices and repair tasks Interest in technology lifecycle management, refurbishment, and sustainable tech solutions Where You Bring Tech Back to Life (Job Duties) Inspect and evaluate incoming desktops, laptops, printers, and server equipment for condition and functionality Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware, software, and peripheral issues Disassemble, sort, and refurbish computer systems and electronic components for reuse Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and basic software as needed Document device condition, repair actions, and system configurations in an inventory tracking system Support technology lifecycle management efforts by extending the usability of electronic equipment Work in a fast-paced, production-style environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards Ensure all repaired equipment meets functional and quality expectations before release More Than Just a Paycheck.
