Please note that this is a hybrid position of 4 days/week in our Los Angeles office What You'll Do Build and maintain various financial models Work cross-functionally with other teams to build and maintain multi-year budget and forecast, and reporting of company KPIs Alongside the Head of Finance, develop, plan, and implement a financial strategy and overall long-range strategy for the company Provide hands-on, metrics-driven financial leadership towards facilitating growth and provide executive leadership financial insight to better manage the business Ensure financial reporting and KPIs are a single source of truth that is timely, accurate, useful, and supported by strong internal controls Partner with the analytics team, gaining a strong understanding of the company’s data What You Have Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 4+ years of relevant work experience working in FP&A or Finance and a highly strategic role Strong analytical thinking and problem solving Experience with conducting analyses and distilling insights for varying audiences (engineering partners, executive leadership, operational stakeholders, etc.) A passion for data integrity - you let the numbers define the narrative rather than finding numbers to support a narrative Project management experience is ideal (roadmap management and development, working and executing against project plans, communicating effectively when deviations from the plan are identified, etc) Ability to manage time effectively - Understand how to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively upward when priorities need to shift, and identify when additional assistance is needed to remain effective and execute to plan Experience managing a team preferred but not required Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Personal integrity and good business judgment Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Exceptional work ethic with a sense of urgency Preferred Qualifications Experience in E-Commerce or subscription-based businesses is a plus Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Looker Studio, etc. Entry level familiarity with SQL preferred but not required The base salary range for this full-time position is $106,200 -$143,750. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
