Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)

Location: Boca Raton, FL
Duration: 7 Months
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for collecting blood specimens, processing samples for laboratory testing, and providing excellent patient service. This role requires maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection following established procedures.
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and a positive experience.
• Work independently while supporting team and operational goals.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.
• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Data entry and basic computer skills required.
• Medical Assistant, Paramedic training, or Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Weekend availability required.
