Job Summary: We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated construction safety professional as our Safety Officer. This position is the driving force in our company to implement all safety goals. You will be in the field at least 60% of the time, doing safety trainings directly with crews and pushing our safety to the gold standard. You will have access to our program to manage and document trainings. This role will require knowledge of construction: demolition, concrete, excavation, shoring, and framing. Responsibilities: Inspecting and correcting safety violations daily on construction sites Training and documenting with various staff in company Creating a culture of safety Creating safety reports and sharing with various staff Implementing programs to achieve zero injuries in the workplace Crawling underneath structures and houses Starting your day at the jobsites and finishing your administrative duties in the office daily Will create and manage your own schedule to accomplish all job site inspections Requirements: Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS practices OSHA 500 Spanish Speaking (Preferred) Experience in construction management and site operations Proficient in risk management and occupational health standards Familiarity with NEC codes and workers' compensation processes Competence in using construction management software Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Excellent skills in compliance management and Microsoft Office applications Perks & Benefits: Competitive pay : $100k - $150k (depending on experience) Robust health coverage: Employer contribution towards KAISER Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Retirement planning: 401(k) plan to help you invest in your future Paid time off and holidays Company phone provided Job stability: Over 30 years of consistent growth and success Schedule: Monday–Friday Some weekends as needed 8-hour shift Day shift Work Location: In-person – Sunland, CA 91040, Los Angeles County and surrounding areas (Local travel required daily) Equal Opportunity Employer: Alpha Structural is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
