Essential Job Responsibilities: As a mobile patrol officer, you have an important role in protecting people and property. Your job requires patrolling assigned areas to detect any signs of criminal activity or security risks. - Conducting routine patrols of designated areas to detect any signs of intrusion or damage. This involves utilizing a customer vehicle to drive around to the various schools in the district.
- Traversing the premises, checking doors and windows, and ensuring external lighting is functioning properly.
- Responding promptly to School Command Center calls or alarms, like fire alarms or security breaches.
- Assessing situations, securing the area to prevent unauthorized access, contacting emergency responders if needed
- Deterring criminal activity and vandalism taken place
- Providing escorts for employees or clients if requested for safety, and if necessary, accompany to parking lots, vehicles or buildings.
- Preparing reports and documentation of details observed and actions taken.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements - 2 years security experience
- School Security experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Must have a clean driver's license
