Urology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Call 24 Pay Rate: $2425.00 - $2625.00

This facility is seeking a Urology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

 

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

 

• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage during Thanksgiving week (November 23 – November 30 AM)
• Practice Setting: 24-hour call coverage (inclusive rate), Call, emergency support, and rounding as needed, approximately 8–10 patients per day
• Types of Cases: Stone treatment, cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, Transurethral needle ablation (TUNA), robotics, general urology surgery
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~90-120 days
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic
• Certifications Required: Board Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure Required: Active Kentucky State License or Interstate Medical Compact Licensure, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

Facility Location
Located at the confluence of the Tennessee and Ohio rivers, Paducah is well known as a hub of activity in western Kentucky. The city boasts a vibrant local arts scene, evidenced by its many galleries and performance spaces. Music fans will find much to love in Paducah as well, with many clubs and venues showcasing the talents of local and regional musicians. The city is halfway between much bigger metropolises St. Louis and Nashville, both of which are just a short daytrip away.
